What we cannot help with
- Homework / dissertation translations. We're a tiny team. Please cite published scholarly translations for academic work.
- Commercial reprint of full tales for free. We're happy to grant permission, but commercial reprint of more than 500 words requires a short licence. Email us.
- Custom translation requests for paid clients. Not at this stage — we focus on our editorial line.
- Identifying or appraising antique Chinese books. We translate; we don't authenticate.
